biography

Vic Buta is a Haworth based artist whose work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions over the last 20 years. Primarily a painter, he also produces artwork using other media including collage, ceramics and assemblages using found objects and wood.

As a community artist he works with a variety of groups, including schools, and has worked on a range of large-scale art projects in the Bradford and Leeds areas. These include the Saltaire Community Mural, Victoria Hall; a ceramic mural for the Westbourne Green Medical Centre in Manningham; artwork for Thornbury Medical Centre and painted murals in Shipley, Bolton Woods, Middleton and Otley.
